There was some talk about this last week here: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/10i4sjj/carvanacvna_at_what_price_point_do_you_become

I got in when people started posting that they were auctioning off their inventory to dealers: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/zo902s/carvana_has_started_liquidation_process_selling/

Thanks to LittleBullBoy pointing out that insiders buying a ton (over $600millon worth) of shares: http://openinsider.com/screener?s=CVNA&o=&pl=&ph=&ll=&lh=&fd=0&fdr=&td=0&tdr=&fdlyl=&fdlyh=&daysago=&xp=1&xs=1&vl=&vh=&ocl=&och=&sic1=-1&sicl=100&sich=9999&grp=0&nfl=&nfh=&nil=&nih=&nol=&noh=&v2l=&v2h=&oc2l=&oc2h=&sortcol=0&cnt=100&page=1

Then finally: Sum of price of cars (assets) >> sum of expenses over 2-3 quarters (aka, they ain't going bankrupt soon). Coupled with the SI %s, then you can see it makes a good short term bet.

That’s too much I’m more of a technical and price action trader, I rarely look at the fundamentals when trading. I called out on Sunday the technical outbreak today.

I exited all calls at the top today, no open positions, it could continue but based on the pattern it will probably consolidate now if there’s another push coming.

So you bought calls on Friday, took profit, and then rebought calls on Monday and took profit again?

Couldn't you just have held through to your thesis?

How do you distinguish between successfully day trading the peaks and troughs and just getting lucky multiple times on a run up?

$CVNA play that I wrote about yesterday for the breakout from $8. My thesis worked beautifully! Hope people followed the play!

I also bought a bunch of carvana stock but just because it was cheap! Not selling holding the shares until we're back to normal.

Nah, it broke a key resistance with insane volume and never lost VWAP on the way up. Anyone who trades based on technicals could've taken the trade if they had it on their watchlist PM.
