It's very common knowledge for scooter owners. Friend of mine had his Dultron stolen the same way, he even used a krypto lock Come check our r/electricscooters feel free to read some literature on there.

I haven't owned my scooter for more than a year. There were lots of people on the corner, I knew I wasn't going to be long, I parked it outside of a bank, and the thief broke the scooter itself to steal it. I incorrectly assumed that I could go for ten/fifteen minutes in the middle of the day in the middle of a city with it locked.

That really sucks. Friend of mine let a homeless dude crash in her place and he stole her Motorbunny Buck while she was at work even though she had the damn thing bolted to the floor.
