This all seems like a lot. We didn’t do a newborn photo shoot due to covid safety precautions for unvaccinated newborn. I did a pregnancy photo shoot and paid $20 per pic digital download for a 30 min session (which ended up being 45 min between Spanish Steps & Mitchell Park as two locations). I didn’t need more than 10 pics of me with a belly.

This is not at all productive but I am amazed people spend such large sums on photos. It’s like the wedding industry - it costs $100, unless it’s a wedding then it’s $800. And people pay it!

There is a Facebook group called Moms and Moms to be of Capitol Hill and there are a bunch of photographers in there that are eager. And their prices are much more reasonable!!

We had ours done by Clifton Man. Very respectful, washed their hands every time before touching the baby. Sanitized their equipment, wore booties and KN95 masks before entering the home. PM me if you want more details. We used them on Monday.
