New to Cleveland Park, so I guess this is directed to those that live there as well. What is your favorite dive bar, in walking distance from the Cleveland Park/ Van Ness metro stops? This is assuming a 30 minute or less walk from either. In years past, I have enjoyed such spots as The Pug, Red Derby, Wonderland Ballroom, Little Miss Whiskey’s, and Pharmacy Bar when it still existed. Looking for a similar vibe TIA!!

Edit: not opposed to crossing over into Woodley Park either.

Wouldn’t that be Nanny O’Briens?

Atomic is my favorite in that area. Cleveland Park Bar and Grill also has a nice little rooftop. Nanny O’brien’s for irish pub.

Cleveland Park Grill sneaky has good food. Pro-tip: ask for the pizza well done.

Most common CP household is a single lady in mid to late 30s that lives in one of the apt buildings on CT Ave pulling in over 100k/y in income.

thanks its interesting i am in Arlington now, and doing the research , Arlington average age is 25 to 30....I am late 30s and given the massive construction in Arlington and cost of living. I might be reasy to move back to some parts of DC where it doesnt feel like i am living with all college kids:) dupont, woodley, cleveland park still seem like ther are some older singles

Atomic Billiards definitely has a divey vibe and is great, imo, but I think Nanny O'Briens is the more popular spot.
