Hey ya'll!

I'm looking to take my partner to a planitarium here in dc but the one at Air and Space seems to be closed. Any other options in the DMV?

Planatarium and a screening/movie theater are not the same

The Air & Space Museum plays planet-based movies in their planetarium. It's kind of like IMAX but the screen is a dome above you.

Apparently I was wrong and the planitarium at the Air and Space is open!

There is one on Quincy St in Arlington not far from the Virginia Square stop. I am not sure it is open to the public since its owned by Arlington Public Schools.

I looked into that one. You can join their membership and get access to events but the events are few and far between

The downtown air and space is 1/2 open, but you need tickets to get in. The tickets are free but just get them in advance. The 2nd half is still under renovation. The Udvr hazy air and space, in Chantilly is fully open and had the big stuff like the SR71, space shuttle and F35.
