I've been living in the area since I graduated college in 2018 for my first job. But now with the "new normal" it doesn't really seem like going back to work in the office 5-days a week will return for me. Mostly it's like 0-2 days a week now.
It's got me thinking, maybe it's time to get out of here to somewhere cheaper. Friends have come and gone, dating has been a bust, there isn't really anything weighing me down here. I had been thinking Baltimore. Easy to get to work 1-2 days a week in Tysons. Still a city and can find areas that give similar walkable vibes as here. Plus my mom has also gotten pretty sick with cancer, and they live up near Baltimore where I grew up in the county.
But idk, I've lived here going on 5 years now, hard to think about leaving. DC is still a pretty nice area.
Where have you all landed on this? Idk I can't decide...want hear other thoughts.
