I moved here four years ago from a midwestern town. I’m a 30 year old Black male, very fit, dress nice and although I’m not rich/swimming in money I am financially successful and rent my own place.
During the duration of my stay here I found it pretty hard to meet women for dates. I’ve tried meetups but it’s usually filled with taken women and elderly people. I tried bars, lounges and online dating to no avail. I’m honestly shocked at how hard it’s been for me to find women in DC and I’m honestly thinking about moving down south (Either Charlotte or Atlanta) to increase my luck in the numbers game since it isn’t working out well in DC.
Anyway sorry for the rant and negativity but I’m just frustrated at my lack of success in terms of dating here and I seriously don’t know what other options I have here. Do anyone else find dating harder here or is this just a me issue?
