Everything is hypothetical until your landlord gives you the official info. He probably needs time to schedule the repair people, figure out where to house people, etc.

From what I can see, the landlord is behaving reasonably so far and is actually communicating way better than many I’ve seen.

Totally, I'm still waiting on official notice, and I'm glad to be communicated too, but to be honest the reason this is even a problem is because he had under the table repair people improperly install the water heater so I'm not feeling too bad for him.

I left a similar comment above, but my official notice came in and he did not provide any info on reasonable accommodations (he didn't mention anything about that at all, even just about pro-rating rent.) is there a code/law/provision you can point me to about accommodations that I can use when I bring it up with him?
