It’s a family event, and they want to keep it that way. They don’t want to give out tickets for adults because then too many adults would be wandering around and it changes the nature of the event.

I don’t know what to tell you. The museum is family friendly, that doesn’t mean it’s family oriented. This is family oriented, like story time at the library or a craft day at the zoo. They don’t want adults without kids to show up for a family-oriented event.

There’s really not another way to explain this. It’s pretty clear cut.
