Awful contractors. Had a tree guy come out Sunday for an estimate who was possibly on some sort of substance - he aggressively demanded to know others' quotes and returned to the house looking for water after leaving. On Monday we had to cancel an $8500 insulation job because the crew smashed a light fixture five minutes into working and said they didn't feel confident they could complete the job without additional damage. This morning's landscapers are two hours late to fix the job that the last landscapers butchered by pulling up all our plants after we'd explicitly asked to leave them be.
Sigh.

Check to see if you can get DC Access: great prices and amazing service. After a huge storm I was back up the next day while all the Verizon & Xfinity customers were a week. And for the folks talking about how it will go up: no increase since I got it in 2019.

That’s how they start off. I was at that price originally and am now paying $105 with no difference in service. It’s the only place that services my building and I feel stuck and annoyed.

RCN, Comcast, and Verizon all consider you a "new customer" after 2-3 years with no service.
Obviously it doesn't work for you since RCN is the only option in your building but for people with other options you can just cycle through each one every year or two to get the best deal.

I switched to YouTube TV. It has all of the locals. I've gone through pretty much all of the streaming cable services. Previously Playstation Vue was hand down the best, but it's now defunct. YouTube TV is better than that.

People on the early metro commute who talk incredibly loud on the phone non-stop barely even taking a breath between sentences. Is there even really someone else on the other end?! Who in their right mind could bare just being barked at like that for so long without even being able to get a single word in?!
