Apparently I fell down that escalator and into the construction rubble because the lower part of the escalator was being worked on. I've found the hospital that I was sent to, medical records, all that; but I want to see what they are talking about. Thank you. I appreciate any and all help.

Didn't know the station had politically-affiliated escalators.

JK - Hope you find those, though someone having such a random picture from 12 years ago seems kinda hard.

Do you mean when they were replacing the escalators with new Kone’s? I’d find it hard to believe you made it to gravel even then (concrete is more likely), now falling in the lower pit because the floor plates were removed is possible but there wouldn’t have been any gravel.

Try bguthriephotos.com. It's the site of an amateur photographer who takes pictures all over DC. His collection goes back a couple of decades. I know him from book events at Politics and Prose and Sixth & I, but he also has photos from just walking around neighborhoods. It's a long shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if he took photos in Metro stations.

Search Google Maps for Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro. There are 400 photos posted by the public. As well as Street View image sequences dating from 2011. (The month may change depending on the camera location.)

Were you supposed to be on this escalator? Maybe went around the barricades or they had fell down or weren’t placed correctly? I have people I’ll ask if they remember this and I can possibly explain it better as for pictures that might be hard to come by.

If you are standing at the top of the metro station, travelling down, it was the escalator all the way to the right that was out of service for repairs. If you were standing in the station, travelling up, it would the escalator all the way to the left. I don't need any kind of explanations of the station or escalators, thank you though, I'm just taking a shot at obtaining pictures of that specific escalator, during that time.
