2 weeks?

Go check out Baltimore as well, and also spend a weekend in NYC (both are easy train rides)

Yeah almost two weeks. Yeah we were planning on NYC for the weekend. What can we see in Baltimore? And what about NYC?

Some NYC Activities: Visit Central Park, the Museum of Natural History (great for kids) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art

I would do a weekday trip to Baltimore via an Amtrak train (the US national rail system). The aquarium is worth visiting and you can spend time walking around the Inner Harbor.

And every small to mid-sized city in the US has a tourism website that curates all the major attractions for you to help you build an itinerary. Here's Baltimore's: https://baltimore.org/

you absolutely must walk the high line in NYC, part of it ends at the hive which has become a famous landmark you may recognize.

There is a ton of travel advice out there, simply search for it...

"<city> kids activities" will lead you to solid options to base a visit around. Applies to DC too
