Are there places in communities / neighborhoods where someone (childless) can give out candy to trick-or-treaters?

Background: Living in a secured building off a commercial street, looking to give out candy in a place that is not on the sidewalk of the building where kids are unlikely to pass anyway. Aka, I want to be in a space where parents and kids feel safe accepting the candy. (Ex, if libraries invite the community to give out candy near there, etc.)

Cheers --

Do you have friends who live in houses? We don't really get kids to our house so we've gone across the street and hung out with neighbors to give out candy.

Set up near Lincoln Park off East Capitol. Place is a zoo all evening.

I used to live on East Cap and the first year, even with a giant bowl of candy, I had to shut down after 15mins.

Last year was our first year in the neighborhood and we had to emergency order more candy from UberEats after like a half hour

That's actually where my friend and I were thinking! She lives in Cap but worried her street wouldn't get many visitors. My question is -- with Hilloween tonight, do you think there will still be trick or treaters on Monday evening? TIA!!

There will be thousands. Minivans will pull up and costumed youth will jump our both sides like a SWAT team. You'll have fun.

Look for churches offering Trunk or Treating?

That's a good one! I thought of libraries but churches are a good option - will look into this. Thank you!
