Are there places in communities / neighborhoods where someone (childless) can give out candy to trick-or-treaters?

Background: Living in a secured building off a commercial street, looking to give out candy in a place that is not on the sidewalk of the building where kids are unlikely to pass anyway. Aka, I want to be in a space where parents and kids feel safe accepting the candy. (Ex, if libraries invite the community to give out candy near there, etc.)

Cheers --

Do you have friends who live in houses? We don't really get kids to our house so we've gone across the street and hung out with neighbors to give out candy.

That's actually where my friend and I were thinking! She lives in Cap but worried her street wouldn't get many visitors. My question is -- with Hilloween tonight, do you think there will still be trick or treaters on Monday evening? TIA!!
