I just looked up this place, and the only one I saw is in B'more; is that the one?

I love Anita's breakfast burritos. They're on the smaller side so get 2 or 3. My wife eats just 1 though and is usually fine.

If OP is from the south/southwest, they will be unimpressed with Anita’s wateryass salsa.

psalesses t1_itmzm9p wrote

Order a BB special with extra cheese & extra chile. You won't need as much salsa and even still, the salsa is good, texture aside.

absorberemitter t1_itn71vu wrote

Truth. But the halfsmoke breakfast burrito makes me forget those green chili dreams.

Meats and Foods does burritos on Saturday morning. Really good.

More American tho w sausage and hasbrowns etc

Seems like this one is the winner so far; gonna have to make a trip Wednesday morning.

Thanks!

They do daily breakfast but their burrito special is only on Saturday and they do fresh biscuits on sundays!

If you want something in this area check out Marty Clark's uptown sandwich shop. The people there are way more friendly, food is better, and you won't be waiting over an hour for one sandwich when there's no line.

The Eastern Market farmer's market has a great breakfast burrito on Saturdays and Sundays. It's usually next to the crepe tent, right at the end of the farmer's market where it hooks around the aquatic center.

Ted's Bulletin's breakfast burrito used to be incredible, before they changed owners a few years back and simplified a lot of their dishes.

Ted Bulletins breakfast burrito, is so, so, so incredibly disappointing. A waste of an order.

Burrito brothers on capitol hill. The super breakfast burrito on a 14 inch tortilla is roughly the size of a small child

BB is the place to be if you want a burrito the size of a tennis ball can.

Their regular burrito bowls are kinda mid if I'm being quite honest but their breakfast burritos are dope. Only place I've seen that offers potatos or platanos for the burrito filling

chillrichardson t1_itpoohd wrote

Have not had the regular burrito bowls, but their regular burritos are possibly the best I’ve had in DC.

Tacos not burritos!

But they’re tasty and still recommend them.

x01660 OP t1_itmq017 wrote

Yeah, those look hella good, but I'm looking for a whole burrito.

But by the look of those tacos, I may need to make a stop anyways.

Thanks for the recommendation!

peachynanci t1_itnp4cc wrote

It’s funny because these tacos remind of burritos more than actual tacos, but super good.

kavorka2 t1_itnbcns wrote

Dupont Market (not the farmers market the store)

But not as good as the tacos at La Tejana or Republic Cantina.

IF you can manage to get one, (call ahead) the meats and foods breakfast burrito is the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of breakfast burritos. Get it with sausage
