We've been trying to get over the black lung that our kid brought home for the past two weeks. Daycare was filled with coughing kids. Four days of sinus congestion, last few days of this thing are just horrible sticky mucus in the chest that doesn't clear easily.

Black lung? 🫁Was this daycare full of coalminers or chimneysweeps? lol

I know what you mean though back to school time always brings out an awful respiratory virus. It’s really no fun combined with the Covid nonsense. We all had to deal with.

I'm wondering if going through covid has made us all a little more vulnerable to this thing. I've got friends across the country reporting the same thing.

Honestly, I was wondering the same as well. The combination of RSV and Covid is awful to navigate between. 😞

Have you tried Vick’s shower soothers? They’re heaven when you’re coughing like that

The last crud my toddler brought home i had to set up a medication reminder to take ibuprofen at the maximum allowable dose rate. We think of it as a painkiller but It drastically reduces nasal swelling.

That and then neti pot as needed.

I can’t tell you how relieving it is to know I’m not alone in this two week struggle. Daycare is producing insane gremlin germs.
