How long does it take for a drivers license to arrive?

Went to the DC DMV on 10/7 to get a RealID, the website shows mailed as of 10/11. Here were are nearly two weeks later and it still hasn’t arrived.

I called the number on the bottom of the paper print out and they said it can take up to 3 weeks?

Somehow I don’t trust that so here I am on Reddit to hear how long it took to get yours.

In case the consensus is that it has been lost/stolen, what should be my next steps?

Not quite what you asked but if you don’t have this already - Sign up for USPS informed delivery… you get emails w scans of your upcoming mail

Went to the DMV on 10/17 and just got mine in the mail today 10/27. Yours should have arrived by now. It comes in a plain white envelope without any markings on it, almost looks like junk mail.

Mine took about 3 weeks, maybe a little longer. It seemed like forever to only have that flimsy printout.

Seems like a long time to be in the mail. Mine arrived maybe 2 days after the status changed to mailed
