Seconding Sticky Rice. Lots of vegan options, along with tater tots and craziness.

Planta!! There’s a location in Bethesda and they’re opening a second one in Foggy Bottom soon. Lots of options including a “spicy tuna” and a “baked crab” roll.

Nara-ya on the wharf has a Green Dragon roll that is vegan, otherwise Sticky Rice is a safe bet with lots of vegan options.

Sushi isn't vegan. So good luck with that. Perhaps consider becoming a pescatarian.

It's a thing. They cut up some fruits and vegetable and stick them on a log of rice and charge a fortune and call it vegan sushi. It's a vegan yuppie thing.

By definition, not technically sushi. But I guess I can respect the hustle.

Sushi refers to the preparation, not the fish.

Edit: Specifically, “sushi” is any of a number of preparations of vinegared rice with accompaniments that may include fish, but don’t have to.

Sushi does not have raw fish in its definition. That's a misconception.
