These don’t really exist in DC, the rent is too high. I used to go to SSPT in Maryland which exactly what you’re looking for. Places like DMV Iron, The Shop, Tyson’s Playground, Exile, Ben A. Fits, Colosseum, etc. are all outside of the city.

Yeah not much of a market, I been a member at colosseum for 11 years and it’s a good hour sometimes two from where I’m at.

DC Sports Club in Columbia Heights has all the machines/barbells you're looking for, although it's a pretty busy commercial gym.

Thanks! Will check it out. Curious as to why this post is being downvoted.

Because your post isn't about bike lanes, asking why there are a lot of police around, or sharing a crime that you were a victim or witness to.

Sorry I forgot there like 3 acceptable personas for men in the district, and I don’t happen to be a soul less “consultant”, a waifish bartender with a vinyl collection, or a political clout chaser from the mid west .

I made an attempt to correct for the downvotes, but this is really douchey. Come on, man.

Look into Balance Gym.

Tysons playground or DMV iron. DC doesn't really have any hardcore lifting gyms. It's mostly crossfit studios and commerical gyms.
