My daughter is moving in May to start a program at GWU. She and bf have a year-old lab. She wants a good commute; he wants as much space and green area as they can get. Any suggestions in the $2000-$2500 range, even outside the city? Thanks.

Give a look at Hanover 8th street. They have so many different unit types, prices and sizes. 5 minute walk to Brookland station too.

Honestly have you looked at smaller rowhomes? They usually have small back yards too, which is nice with a dog. 3.5k will get you some of the smaller 2bd ones in ok neighborhoods.
