Watch for holiday boat parades and fireworks over the Wharf at some point in the coming weeks, and check out the White House and Capitol trees when they go up. Weeknights after dinner hours tend to be less crowded for photos. The Canadian Embassy has a tree and good lighting as does Union Station. Constitution Hall dresses up well. Georgetown Glow should be back again sometime with cool light installations, and there’s the ice rink over there. Plenty of places to take walks and enjoy the lights in December.
