Boomer humor isn't going to make scammers stop scamming and will put you at a higher chance of assault than not doing that

Of course it’s not going to actually make them stop scamming. They’re scammers; it’s what they do. Shaming them, if not effective, is at least a comedic attempt at enforcing the social norm of not bothering random people for profit. Lighten up.
