This is a good question. What I’ve always appreciated about DC is that anything goes. I’ve never felt under dressed or over dressed. I feel as though I get treated the same.

With that said, I get the most compliments on my fits out on U Street. I’m not aware of any establishments that cater specifically to the fashion crowd, but perhaps somewhere like Flash would cater to these people, if they even exist here.

My friend was recently visiting from NYC and I described Georgetown as the SoHo of DC, in that SoHo is the new Times Square.

Not really the fashion capital.

You’re gonna get run out of town if you’re not rocking J Crew, Patagonia, or MadeWell.

D.C. is conservative business, classic, or preppy — opposite of trendy and anti-fashion forward.
