I saw Johnny Marr a few months back and he was so amazing. I saw Morrissey a few years ago and he was bleh. Not surprised at all Morrissey cancelled I'm glad I didn't buy a ticket and take off work.

I read that he recently did a show in LA I think where he only performed for a half hour.
The guy's temperamental to put it in the best light.

Correct. That show was during a cold snap at an outdoor venue and allegedly it was in the 50's that night. He ended the performance after 30 minutes and has not performed since. Every show last week was canceled.

I don't know but it seems like a LOT of people are gullible enough to pay top dollar for Morrissey tickets, thinking that he'll actually show up.

Yeah, but Morrissey canceling at the last minute is an all too common occurrence. I've bought Morrissey tickets twice in the last 25 years, only to have both shows cancelled. I've learned my lesson.

I feel fortunate that I got to take my daughter to see him there back in 2017. She's a big fan and the tickets were an incentive to get her grades up. I'm sure it's very frustrating for the show to be canceled last minute.

I’m thinking this has something to do with his cancer. Morrissey is also known to cancel shows. Guessing from his IG post, he is just overworked at his age. I guess my dream of getting close enough to the stage to show Morrissey my tattoo of him has been ended. Very sad day.
