But why would people dream of a metro station there? I could see it more so in Georgetown (as mentioned) or up by the AU campus. But at Cathedral and Idaho? There are condos there that actually have parking spaces.

Just cause there are parking spots doesn’t mean people don’t want good transit. Not everyone wants to drive everywhere.
