Any recommendations for making queer friends in DC?

I recently moved to the dmv area from Atlanta where I began to make a small circle of queer friends. I realized that community is very important to me and I’d like to meet other queer men in the dmv area for friendship and to hang out with. Are there any groups or Reddit pages or something that I can look to in order to meet people?

There are some social groups on Meetup. I haven't checked them myself but they look pretty active.

Queer sports is a big thing here, especially kickball but there’s also bocce, billiards, darts, dodgeball, and others depending on what you’re interested in. I would look into Stonewall Sports, there’s both social and competitive leagues whichever is more your vibe. If you’re musical, I’d suggest the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington (open to all genders FYI) or the DC Different Drummers. Both are great social groups that also make fabulous music together.
