I just got all of my old clothes from my parents and I want to donate some cold weather stuff that doesn’t fit me anymore. I want to donate it but I want to make sure it’s a donation place that will actually help people. Any suggestions?

I figured as much. I don’t want to drop anything off that’s not a direct drop off

I haven't kept abreast of it - but there were local efforts for afghanistan/ukraine refugees in the past couple years that probably need continual support even if they're not in the spotlight as much

Adventist Community Services in East Silver Spring has bins, but they tend to them regularly.

We’ve done Martha’s Table for direct donations. They have a facility on 15th st that will accept them.
