Unrelated, but does anyone know why DC has so many manholes? It seems like one per address in parts, vs the one or two per block I've seen in other cities.

Might be for utility line access. DC’s electric distribution lines are underground instead of on poles.

What is worse is people still buying those muscle cars and polishing them up as if they are some kind of trophy. We are in the age of collapse. The street hole should be a warning and symbol for the call to action to change or adopt since our political institutions are incapable of doing so.
