I went in person to pick up the license and then dropped it back off with a request and payment for certified copies. Was able to go back and pick them up just a couple days later. If I recall, you can get standard certified copies same day and the triple-seal within 3 days or so.

I'm afraid going in person is the best option. Same day certified copies.

Yes and they took FOREVER to process it. We had to call/email the lady a half dozen times to get it done. Keep trying!

The church where you might have been married will have a copy of the marriage license. I worked for a Church in Georgetown and sometimes the license bureau would tell us they never received their copies even though we did send them right after the wedding occurred.

Good Luck. You will most likely have to go in person. If so, go early and be prepared to wait.

Nothing I did online got a response. I went in person shortly after they opened for both visits and spent like than 30 min there each time.

Lol! My husband has been trying to get our copies for months. I work downtown and will go eventually in person. He’s been trying since September and was told two weeks ago that they haven’t made it to the September stack yet.
