Anju has several vegetarian dishes you can eat in or take out . Must order 6 .
Pupatella pizza also vegetarian options.
Purple Patch, too.
These days, most restaurants have vegetarian options.

HipCityVeg is a chain based out of Pennsylvania but they have two locations in DC. Pretty sure they use Impossible Foods/Beyond Meat fake meat but the stuff is pretty good.

NuVegan is really good, it’s vegan soul food. There are vegetarian option at El Sol (11th and M NW). The roost is a food hall on Penn Ave SE and the taco place there has fried avocado tacos to die for! If you want something fancier, Ocean Prime has a good veggie menu. Falafel Inc at the wharf is great, and the most modestly priced food at the wharf ($4-$7 “entrees”). Rasika has good vegetarian options as well.

Little Beet on H St is “vegetarian friendly” - a lot of great veggie dishes and strikes a good balance between casual and a bit upscale.

Cheverly is sorta far, but if you want to make it to Rockville, Yuan Fu is legendary for veg Chinese.

Doro soul food is carry out only. They have great fried chicken with Ethiopian spices. they also have a fantastic vegan fried chicken.

Pow Pow is a pretty good fast casual Asian restaurant with two locations (Franklin Square) and H Street (N/E) corridor. I've only been to the Franklin Square outlet, I am not a vegetarian and really enjoyed it.

Shouk!! Locations in Mt. Vernon/Convention Center and Union Market (as well as MoCo). Think Hummus, Shawarma, Falafel and so on, but all vegan. Highly recommended!
And, yes, I eat meat.
