Vegetarian Tasting Menus

Hi, i‘m planning to treat my girlfriend with a vegetarian tasting menu and i am new in town, are there any places you can recommend? I‘m looking for something not too casual and for around 100$ per person. Thanks in advance!

I haven’t been to Fancy Radish in a while and don’t think they have a tasting menu, but it’s a lovely vegan restaurant - might be worth looking at the menu. As someone said above, Rooster and Owl can definitely be vegetarian as well.

Yes, it's similar to a tasting menu but not fixed and a little more casual (but haven't been to these other recs so I can't compare there). I always found it filling and well priced

I went to Fancy Radish for the first time on Friday and I was completely blown away. I'm not even a vegetarian and it was amazing.

I hope they’ve improved. We went in late November and the food was…. Uninspired. I was the only person in our group of four who did the veggie menu and all of my dishes came out cold because I’m assuming they didn’t have the kitchen timing down.

That's disappointing to hear. The omnivore menu was pretty good (I give some leeway since they're new), but the veggie menu looked really good too. I enjoyed the Virginia wine pairing.

Tail up goat is at your price point and offers three tasting menus - one of which is vegetarian. I still think about the dinner I had there last year!

Cranes will do vegetarian. I think 125 which is more expensive than you asked for, but their restaurant week (meat version) was great.

Elizabeth’s Gone Raw is very good and all vegan. Equinox has non-vegetarian options but also has a plant based tasting menu and all plant based brunch.

Believe it or not but The Melting Pot has a four course plant based meal option! It's in Nova but it's a fun time.

Seconding Rooster and Owl! Also, many restaurants that offer tasting menus will do vegetarian by request, even if it's not on their website. I know Masseria, Gravitas, and Cranes do for sure (though they're pricier).

I would suggest scrolling through the reviews for Equinox. While many have good experiences, others do not. The biggest complaint is poor service. I went to Equinox about 6 months ago for brunch. Not sure if you have a capital one credit card, but if you do, they have reservations held for card holders, I’m seeing reservations for 2 available weds, fri, sat this week.

Gravitas can do their tasting menu vegetarian. Sometimes even have a specific vegetarian tasting menu.
