I’ve noticed a lot of people, specifically white men wearing shorts lately. Two weeks ago when it was close to 7 degrees Fahrenheit there were 3 young white men on my train wearing these khaki shorts with only a light jacket. I could see their knees, ankles, and just really super exposed in the super cold weather.
Is this a new fashion statement or is it weather related used primarily by white people? This is my first winter in DC and I’ve only seen shorts worn in the summertime.
I appreciate any info you can give that might help alleviate my ignorance.
