Pretty sure Lockheed Martin or Raytheon don't really care. Being American defence companies, can't imagine the US government would even let them trade with China

Don’t both of those companies rely very heavily on microchips from Taiwan in the first place? Don’t those companies actually have a vested interest in Taiwan’s autonomy?

Chinese chips (and other components) cannot be used in US military equipment.

So they must source elsewhere.

intel is a very capable U.S design and semiconductor. Not that far behind TSMC especially if TSMC gets stuck on 3nm plus older nodes are preferred as they are well tested already and less prone to something something I forgot
