From what I’ve heard about this story, through massive manipulation of Facebook to get the people to trust the son again and hate the current government. The ousted family bought their way back into the good graces of the people with a campaign of relentless propaganda.

The government that took over after deposing a dictator was immediately bought by the Americans who harboured said dictator.
