Which is funny to think because they refused to pay the damages the ICJ ruled they owe the UK for blowing up two of the Royal Navy's destroyers after WW2.

It's an incredible change. They used to be one of the most seclusive communist countries. Very much like North Korea -- they were even aligned with China, which made them even more secluded with respect to the rest of Eastern Europe.

Iran wants to play cyber games huh?

Everybody gangsta until the air-gapped computers that control the nuclear centrifuge begin playing Thunderstruck.

the fact they talk big game with such apparent weak spots is hilarious.

at this point, Israel should justify our aid by permanently crippling the entire IT department of the Islamic Republic.

That did happen. And then Iran got all their best hackers and stole all the data from NATO and transfered it to themselves. Then NATO got all their best hackers and...

> The reason for the attacks, which began with a stealthy penetration of government servers in 2021, but started causing visible disruption only last year, appears to be Albania’s sheltering of Mujahedeen Khalq, known as M.E.K., a secretive Iranian dissident group, on its soil. > > Also playing a role are the polarized politics of Washington, where prominent Republican hawks on Iran have been strong backers of M.E.K.

But, of course. Republicans on the aggressor's side when a NATO ally is under attack. It's like a child's paint by numbers kit but dipshit behavior.

M.E.K. isn't the aggressor, the Iranian government is. Despite their name the M.E.K. isn't jihadist and leans more left-wing although their ideology is vague to say the least.

They are in Albania at the invitation of their government IIRC.
