China's 12-point position paper.

1-4, and 12 can't happen while Russia occupies Ukraine.

5-7 were ideas already ruined by Russia when they directly attacked humanitarian corridors, schools, and power plants.

8 is especially laughable.

> 8. Reducing strategic risks. Nuclear weapons must not be used and nuclear wars must not be fought. The threat or use of nuclear weapons should be opposed. Nuclear proliferation must be prevented and nuclear crisis avoided. China opposes the research, development and use of chemical and biological weapons by any country under any circumstances.

> In 2020, the US estimated that China had nuclear warheads numbering in the low-200s and expected the stockpile to double within a decade. Just two years later, China has reached that mark and could have some 1,500 nuclear warheads by 2035 if they continue to expand their stockpile at the current pace, according to the 2022 China Military Power report released Tuesday.

9-11 are what they really want.

I mean, it’s still not a bad thing point number 8 was made. I don’t think China was insincere on that matter. It does not benefit them for a nuclear war to break out near their southern border.
