Perhaps, but at the same time, kids are bombarded by social media, "relatable" yet almost engineered influencers, impossible beauty standards, fear of no future, and so on. A breakup may just be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

They have a tough life. I agree they need help since they are young; but they will be shocked when they hit the real world. Life’s not gentle or fair.

Life isn't fair, true, although I believe it's our job to make it fair. But either way I'd rather have them find out later than leave adolescence with a trauma.
