This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 77%. (I'm a bot)

> Indigenous elder Aunty Joy Murphy Wandin AO has been stopped from performing a Welcome to Country ceremony for Barack Obama because she was allegedly being "Too difficult".

> The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation said event organisers, Growth Faculty, removed Aunty Joy from event proceedings amid claims she was being "Too difficult".

> The corporation said Aunty Joy had asked event organisers to "Make appropriate accommodations for a support person" to accompany the elder to the event, along with "Requests to provide Mr Obama with a gift as is cultural practice".

What is this title. There has got to be a simpler and more understandable way to write this title.

“Indigenous elder stopped from performing a ceremony welcoming Obama. Supposedly ‘too difficult’”

Wait I can do better.

“Supposedly difficult elder removed from welcoming ceremony for Obama.”

Former president, that would mean stringent background checks. Perhaps the helper was flagged for some reason, and the Elder rejected all alternatives, insisting on the original help?

Not a fact, just speculation.

Thats both hilarious and sad. A ceremony sacred to her people being reduced to prelaunch entertainment, than being told she's making too much a fuss. You cant make this up.
