Because Switzerland don’t give a fuck. If Germany want open borders, Switzerland don’t.

And here I thought that Switzerland wants to be part of the Shengen area? It would be against the Dublin accords to just wave migrants through. It would be really funny if Switzerland would give a fuck and join the Shengen agreements, but at the same time not give a fuck to enforce the obligations. Would be funny if the Swiss television (SRF) had already confirmed so. But why adhere to contracts, when it is actually clear that everything is the fault of Germany.

Switzerland won’t allow them to stay, but is a giving them a free pass to Western Europe….

They’re kind of in a shitty spot: sending afghan people back to that terror camp would be a mistake, but so would letting them stay in Switzerland.

Letting people into Europe which have strong religious inclinations/sympathies is a mistake, especially in an area that’s been moving towards secularism for the past 400 years.

Why would it be better for Germany to let them stay then Switzerland? Switzerland are just assholes, and always have been.

Cognitive dissonance. Is it bad or not Germany?
