pardon me, Russia destroyed every non-nuclear means of energy production last week, blackouts are to be expected.Ukraine survived a direct invasion and fighting on Kiev, strikes near lviv, Ukraine has faced worse this year alone. they will triumph, for their cause is a righteous cause.

Honestly this is very, very bad for Ukraine and might be a tipping point in the conflict. When you siginificantly damage or destroy the power grid it's prett ymuch voer for the opposing side, hence why the US first sent missiel strikes on Iraqi power grid before the invasion.

Attacking civilian targets has been shown to galvanise the general population and increase support for the war, so it's Russia shooting themselves in the foot.

There's only so much you can do when all your comms are out, alongside with basic necessities like water and heating in winter.
Also I don't know why I'm getting down voted, this is literally modern warfare 101, I'm rooting for the Ukrainians obviously, but if Russia significantly cripples their power grid Ukraine is in for a whole lot of trouble.

But they aren't losing comms because they're using sat-com from their allies.
And they are able to maintain very minimal power and are getting air defense improvements as well as parts to repair powerplants from their neighbours
