I think what nobody cares to mention, is that every penny they make from the sales of these singles goes to charity. So while the songs may not be fantastic, their commitment to their cause is inspiring, which is why people get behind it.
And before I get hit with "they're millionaires!" yes, they are successful influencers who have clothing lines and sponsors for their source of income. But every penny made from their tracks does indeed go to charity, which is why people buy them

It’s not really every penny though; iirc it’s about 1p per sale that goes to charity. The rest is absorbed as “costs”
