It's been interesting to watch Brazilians revel in being rid of Bolsonaro while also reconcile vile shit like this at the same time on this website.

Brazil isn't a military super power in case you haven't thought about it. It has very high upkeep for the extensive land and sea frontier it has, unlike the colonizers who have 10x less land mass and twice as much money with 10x less people.

The unwillingness to provide military assistance is completely understandable.
It's the hairsplitting that mirrors rhetoric from countries like China that is reprehensible.

I am not sure Germany ever colonized anything in South America, but correct me if I am wrong.

It seems they didn't, but why that matter? There's also ongoing neocolonialism.

Because this is a visit by Scholz and he obviously does not come from a colonizer country in South America? And then moving the goal posts just to have a point?

I think you’re just convinced this needs to be a colonization topic when frankly it just isn’t

This is anything but neutral.
It's basically parroting the Russian propaganda line.
You're an excellent example of the phenomenon I'm referring to.

Obviously not.
Just the Russian propaganda.

The official reasons for the war are clearly stated by Putin on camera. You have to try very hard and still be somewhat cognitively challenged to claim that “the world has very little information”. You have all the information, this is literally the most documented conflict in history of warfare.

“to establish a peace-oriented club of nonaligned countries like China, Brazil, India and Indonesia”. Hmm so wouldn’t they then be aligned with each other?
Also to include China as a peace-oriented country is a complete joke. Every other day they are threatening to burn Taiwan to the ground. They’ve also attacked Indian soldiers recently. Among many other instances of non peaceful behavior

> German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Brazil's freshly inaugurated President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva traded barbs late Monday on who's responsible for Russia's invasion in Ukraine, as the latter suggested that Kyiv could also be at fault.
> Following the amicable start of a joint press conference, in which the Brazilian president said that he wants to finalize the EU trade deal "By the end of the current semester," the mood turned sour after Lula raised the war in Ukraine and rejected Germany's appeal to support Kyiv with weapons and ammunition.
> He also rejected the possibility that Brazil could help Ukraine to fend off Russian missile or drone attacks by selling its units of the German-made Gepard air defense tanks along with corresponding ammunition: "Brazil has no interest in handing over munitions that can be used in the war between Ukraine and Russia," Lula said.

Expecting anything from a BRICS country on this issue is like expecting Manchester United to win the league this year.
