Yes it is, I'm merely saying the West should signal that it may need to start considering it. It sends a clear signal to China. If China doesn't change any of its support for Russia after that the West can start small and begin ramping them up.

It doesn't need to be a bluff. There's plenty of things we could sanction China on as we shift away from their manufacturing already. Like solar panels etc.
