I should be moving into Yonkers this month. Im 26F and my daughter is two with ASD. Is there any advice that anyone can give me? Places to go, places to avoid? I live in the Bronx now and was told there’s a huge difference.

I'm (23F) also thinking about moving to the area. More precisely in between yonkers station and glenwood station, west side of warburton AVE. My workplace is nearby and I work nightshift. I would also like to know if the area is generally considered safe and is it safe to walk to the train stations at night. Any insight is greatly appreciated!!!

You can look up crime stats for any zip code on city-data.

S Broadway is both good and bad but if you are in the part closest to riverdale it is much better...alot of busses and metro north isn't far

Don’t sign a long term lease you’ll want to leave as quick as soon as you settle in

Seems you have a kid who will need accommodations, this school district sucks

Oh, that’s unfortunate. Sounds like I would have to commute back and forth to the city. Is that even possible in Yonkers?
