Mars *does* have a molten core. [Evidence was found since 2003](https://mars.nasa.gov/news/453/scientists-say-mars-has-a-liquid-iron-core/) and [again by InSight in 2021](https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-00696-7). Liquid core does not automatically equate to an intrinsic magnetosphere
