constant use. Not sure about the 5 but the 3 you can [replace the battery](https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Sony+WH-1000XM3+Battery+Replacement/147364#) with some effort. The original battery is showing no issues

this issue couple times when replacing MacBook batteries. I used the [iFixit adhesive removal liquid](https://www.ifixit.com/products/ifixit-adhesive-remover) and plastic cards shimmied underneath the battery, loosening the adhesive enough to remove the battery without force ... Here's the iFixit instructions](https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+Use+iFixit+Adhesive+Remover/116993) for how to do a similar kind of battery removal
