Yes, Special Ed probably skews the data. I have a low number of students, but they are very high needs.

Shop around. I got at huge rate decrease by switching to Progressive last fall, but I also heard from a friend that their Progressive rate went way up. I fully expect a big rate jump on my next renewal, so I'm going to preprare to shop around again.

Vinalhaven is beautiful, but I would go in the summer. There are some nice trails, but it would be more fun in the summer. I wouldn't call the island really walkable. I mean, yeah, you can walk but you'll freeze your ass off and there's nowhere to go. There aren't many shop or restaurants. It's like Friendship, but with water all the way around it.

My house is off grid solar, with batteries and a generator. It's not for everyone, but I have been living this way since 2015. I don't pay a dime to CMP. I keep thinking about moving into town as I get older, but I don't like the idea of paying a utility bill.
