Come on, really?
Every Dept, every official govt entity has some sort of a standard they follow for graphics, handouts, etc. I'm not saying call 911 to ask font styles.
I did this in Boston, by calling the Boston Fire Headquarters non emergency line and asking them what font they used on the trucks, because I was a Graphic Designer working on a pamphlet project for NARCAN.

I have contacted agencies before and asked them about font styles, etc. Worst they can say is no?

Welcome!! Happy to hear your already enjoying winter with sledding and getting outside with the kids. It really is the best thing to do during the winter months (when safe to do so!)

I honestly didn't know it was a thing I could do until now. Just moved to the area from out of state, and hadn't really found a good mechanic yet. Now I know I can get some kits and do it myself, I have a project to tackle when it warms up a bit.

Yup, it was one model.
Sierra 1500 with 18" winter tires. I actually sit lower than what the truck was intended (I got it used with 22" low pros). I'll look into the headlight adjustment some more, as you're not the only one who brought it up. Thanks

“General Motors is recalling more than 740,000 small SUVs in the U.S. because the headlight beams can be too bright and cause glare for oncoming drivers,” - March 2022
Its a manufacturing issues with vehicles being outfitted with super bright headlights. I drive a 2018 pickup, no after market parts at all on it, and I get flashed all the time at night because people think I have my high beams on, when in reality my headlights just sit higher up than your typical car.
You're not going crazy, brighter headlights are a known problem, and companies like GMC are already taking steps to fix it.

Reply to Why do so many people from out of state think that tire chains are the answer? by SnooMaps1313
Because chains are a far cheaper option than getting Winter Tires, by a long shot (not to mention changing them out again in the Spring). That would be my guess. Hell, I'm from Massachusetts before I moved up here, and we didn't ever use winter tires or chains. For a lot of folks, it's a foreign concept.

Reply to comment by Moist-Adhesiveness78 in Something killed and devoured a deer in my yard last night. Thought it was coyotes, but they don't decapitate... coywolves, actual wolves? What could have done this..... (Northern Vermont) by WheezeThaJuice
I know this is the VT subreddit, but I've been hunting in Kansas (in-laws) for a decade plus, and out there is no requirement to weigh the deer after you've shot it. We typically field dress where the animal was killed, as long as it's not super close to a residence/farm.
I haven't hunted in VT yet since I moved here, but I just might have field dressed the animal like I always did it KS. Not because I'm a poacher, but because it's what I'm used to doing in another state.
Thank you for saying this though, I'll definitely make sure I read more into this!

Douche Canoe is underrated imo
Being a transplant from Mass, it's refreshing to drive someplace in VT on the highway and not have someone in a vehicle putting my life in danger.
But well said, there are few things in life that are important enough to warrant driving like a complete ass and putting other peoples lives in danger.
