Let us know how you make out. I had the same issue with a Camry a bit older than yours. I bought it private sale. Ended up replacing the seals in the brake lights. Re sealed all the windows. Replaced all the plugs. Tore trunk apart and sealed everything I could. Had the a/c lines flushed out. Checked the wheel wells. Made a couple other small adjustments. Still every time it rained my rear drivers side floor board would be saturated. Had to shop vac it out all the time and air it out. It was a huge pain in the ass. Other than that the car was amazing. But mold and rust from the inside out was going to be an issue. No body shop wanted to touch it. So I just ended up trading it in. Fully disclosed the problem to the dealer and told them why I was getting rid of it. I still got almost what I paid for it. They just sent it to auction I guess. I hope you figure things out.

I will also add that I reluctantly went to vip because I can’t find a decent mechanic in my area that isn’t booked for months out. I’m a carpenter not a mechanic although since I bought my truck I have been trying to do any work I can on my own. Recently blew a bunch of discs in my back and haven’t been able to do a whole lot. I really just needed my truck to be sound. If anyone has any suggestions for the Gardiner/Augusta area I’d appreciate it.

They also ripped me off last week. Tested my battery for free. Said the battery was fine but my starter failed, so I made an appointment to get it replaced. Brought the truck in. They call me 15 minutes later saying my battery wasn’t providing enough charge in order for them to run a full diagnostic on my starter and alternator. Told em to do what they had to do…I kind of laughed and knew where it was going but my truck was already in their garage. and I also thought my starter was gone because it had supposedly failed their test. All in all starter was fine. Charged me 375 bucks.
