Why do we have to spend public dollars on it though? I don’t get a free police escort of dozens of vehicles if one of my family members die and free transport of their remains so why do they get special treatment?

If you remove the heat source for the baseboard make sure it gets drained at least. Don’t want those pipes to freeze in the walls

That’s what we did for the latest heating relief checks

Hyperbole aside, I bet they’re more likely to arrest you if you are being a dumbass about it. Otherwise you’d just be escorted out. The AT does come right near the edge of it so I’m sure they’re used to people getting lost and curious on the edges from time to time.

You’ll get to the edge of the Redington property and be greeted by a sign that says no trespassing and you’re kindly asked to turn around.
You keep going, and there will be another sign that basically says “seriously turn the fuck around NOW”
I’m not sure if there is a third sign, but I’m not sure you want to find out what it says either. Probably something along the lines of “if you can read this, you’re already dead”

To be fair, if they ended up anywhere near Boston and tried to get off the highway and turn around… their infrastructure is almost designed to make you lost so… and then NH has even worse road signage.

You can give Maine Revenue Services a call at (207) 626-8475 to ask about individual income tax questions, but it might be posted somewhere on their website saying how many years back you can file if you don’t normally file.
http://www.maine.gov/revenue/about/taxpayer-rights
You can download the 1040ME back to 2012

Same deal with the nuclear winter hypothesis. It probably overestimated how much vaporized wood (from wildfires in forests surrounding cities) would get shot into the atmosphere

It’s the most rural counties, most of which are also the northernmost or more northern than the more populated ones…
The population of all of those counties is less than a third of the overall state population.
